Content: It is the time of year
where everyone heads off in all directions to shop for the holidays.
Some prefer to walk in to a mall and take their time to shop, some
prefer to shop online and some prefer to do both. I am one to do
both. There are 5 weeks before Christmas and we will have our very
first Finvillage Christmas Sale.
The Finvillage
Christmas Sale event spans one week and will start on the 23 rd
of November 2008 and will end on the 30 th of
November 2008 . You can buy and sell anything during the Holiday
sale event. What you sell does not need to be fish or aquarium
related. It can be anything as long as it’s legal .
Listing items are free and there won’t be any final sale value fees
either. The auction section is also set up in such a way that you can
trade items for other items among members. Please note that we will
continue to host the regular Friday Night Live Express Auction event
during this time. If you have any questions regarding this event

Friday Night Live Express Auction
(FNL express):
This is a reminder that
we will be having our regular Friday night Live express Auction EVERY
Friday starting at 7.00 PM EST and Ending at 11.00 PM EST. There also
will be a Lucky number game open to all members on Fridays. Winning
numbers will be randomly picked during the FNL and will be announced
in the Chat room. So pick your number every week by visiting the
Forum section and be present on Fridays in the Chat room.
Policies:
I have to remind all
Finvillagers that having benefit auctions for the benefit of other
members/organizations/charities are ALLOWED only if the seller
intends to follow through on the sale and use the proceeds for the
purpose intended. Not following through on benefit auctions in this
manner is considered fraud and our Finvillage community as a whole
looses credibility because of it. An example of this is when the
benefit auction states that the proceeds will be given to someone or
an organization and buyers bid on it thinking that the money will be
utilized for that purpose, but the seller does not follow through.
This is another reason for getting banned from the community.
With that, I will stop writing and see you all at the Friday Night
Live Express Auction event.
