My koi have been going wild since I turned up the heater
a degree! Lastnight we had 6 koi with tubes dropped and looking for
action.Dickie N Cloe paired off and took over the middle of the 55 gal
and it was crazy after that!! They began constant cleaning of a
swordplant and fighting off any koi that even moved.
So I took an old undergravel filter I had and rigged up a divider and
put Dickie & Cloe by themselves.I havent got an empty 20 gal for
them but will get it asap. All morning they picked at their plant and
finially at 2pm they spawned!!
This is Cloe`s first mate but Dickies second mate/spawn.My husband
named him but I call him dickie to keep it clean!!! Lets keep our
fingers crossed!!
