Is going to be November 10th. If it doesn't work, I will be having surgery to remove the piece of herniated disc that has lodged itself against my sciatic nerve. I'm still in pain every day, and living on pain pills, the good (but sad) part, is I can take them and still function, go to work, and such. I'm looking foward to the resolution of this, even if it does mean surgery. My Neuro-Surgeon, (one of the best in town), told me the success rate of the type of surgery I will require has a 90% success rate.
And.....MY COMPUTER IS FIXED!!!!!!!! I can only sit here for a few minutes at a time though, my new job is on my feet all day, but standing and walking isn't the problem, it's sitting and laying down.
Hopefully I will find some of you online now, while I am here, if not, I'll be back, randomly and just for a little bit.....
miss and luv you all!
Dawn

Hey sweety, if you have a good neuro surgeon you will be fine.  I know what you are going through I had the same surgery 12 years ago.  I have never regretted it.  I have been pretty normal since.  The only time I have problems is if I am lifting heavy objects over an extended period of time.   Then my sciatic nerve will kill me and you know what that pain is like.  Otherwise even recoup was easier than having my rotator cuff done.  Good luck and keep us informed.  Hugs
